I have read "Skinny Bitch" and enjoy the recipes out of "Skinny Bitch in the Kitch". What I like about their style is how very matter of fact they are in their writing. Ultimately they are encouraging the reader to be healthy (not skinny) and happy with yourself (not bitchy). I could do without the language but they admit they gave it title with a hook to catch your attention.

Chocolate does have caffeine which is acidic and addictive. Using it will not noticably change the flavor of the pudding if that's what you prefer, but carob would be healthier.

Those are really great recipes! I've been making Raw vegan mousse and puddings for a long time...you'd NEVER know they're vegan and have avocado. I use agave nectar instead of honey (because I'm vegan) and they're delicious :)

I've heard that before, but as I've said, I always ask my self, "Did Adam and Eve have this available to them?" when I question an ingredient. I believe that the original diet (in The Garden) is the healthiest. Because of honey's excellent nutrutional and healing properties it is usually my sweetener of choice. It is useable in its natural state and requires no processing at all. Plus, it has been used all over the world for thousands of years without any adverse side effects (something that can't be said for many sweeteners that are on the market today).

Yes, that is a wise use of energy. Or, you could roast the garlic in a toaster oven if you don't want to heat up your big oven for just garlic.

These sandwiches sound wonderful!

Great idea about the pesto - I happen to like sun-dried tomato pesto, and I thnk that would work great with these sandwiches.

Thanks so much for the recipe!
